Tendenza Clown

Every year in September, Circuito CLAPS presents Tendenza Clown Festival, an event which focuses on contemporary circus and includes shows, meetings and workshops taking place in Milan. For four days, our city becomes a crossroads of excellence on the contemporary scene, including clowning, juggling, acrobatics, music with companies coming from all over the world… Thanks to the collaboration with the Catalan Institute Ramon Llull and the Institut Français, and with the patronage of the Lombardy Region and the Municipality of Milan, Circuito CLAPS develops a rich programme that involves the entire day with shows for adults and children, as well as international masterclasses for young artists and operators, conferences, workshops for artists and activities for children. Since the first edition, the programme has been held at Teatro Franco Parenti in Milan, in collaboration with Associazione Pier Lombardo.


2021 Edition

After the success of the previous editions of Tendenza Clown, Circuito CLAPS presents the fifth one in 2022. This year the festival will take place from 22nd to 25th September at Teatro Franco Parenti in Milan, with the most varied and composite programme ever. Not only shows of international relevance and companies coming from all over Europe, but also collateral activities open to the public, artists and operators.
